Wisdom for the Real World

Proverbs will not let a church treat wisdom like a fridge magnet. Week 1 opens the door: knowledge begins with the fear of Yahweh, not with self-confidence. Week 2 puts the whole weight of a life on him instead of on the illusion of control. Week 3 walks into the room where wrath is already rising and asks whether the tongue will heal or pierce. Week 4 closes with strength nobody advertised: faithful character that works, gives, and fears Yahweh while the world keeps score by charm.
