Stop Limping Between Two: The Witness Our Neighbors Can See

The unused invite is still facedown under the mat. Last month this church printed Yahweh is God toward the street after a named stall went public on the block. One hallway received that sentence as cover. The sidewalk received a quieter we-can-keep-both version by Tuesday.

A kid on that sidewalk is deciding whether this church follows one God in the open, or keeps the Name indoors and dresses the street in two loyalties.

This is a sermon about the witness our neighbors can already see. If you preach it as a map of anyone's private indecision, you will lie. If you preach it as Elijah on Carmel, a real drought, real prophets of Baal, a repaired altar, and fire that falls on soaked wood, you give this church a God who will not share the Name.

You also take away the cheap mission move that treats a borrowed keep-both sentence as the peace the block already has to live under.
