The foyer still has two versions of the same unanswered question. One household already has a why they keep between themselves. Another household still has to live under that closed file. Last month this church said we will sit with mystery. By Tuesday the hallway had a quieter rule: the people who already understand will handle it when they are ready.
A neighbor two seats over is deciding whether this church can occupy the same air with a question nobody can finish, or whether leftover indoor explanation writes the public life the rest of the body has to keep.
This is a sermon about what Job 38 changes between you. If you preach it as a map of anyone's private weather, you will lie. If you preach it as Yahweh answering Job out of the whirlwind, you give this church a God whose wisdom is larger than the answer we demanded. You also take away the cheap community move that treats a private why as the same thing as a shared hour.
