This is a sermon about the responsibility already in the room. If you preach Genesis 37 as a map of anyone's private wound, you will lie. If you preach it as Joseph's brothers throwing him into a real pit in history, you give this church a God whose unfinished work after betrayal has to change the people who still hold the charge.
